Editorial policy
How we decide what belongs on the Live Board — and what gets removed. Prefer honesty over manufactured authority.
What we list
- SaaS products, indie tools, and real operator websites with a crawlable domain.
- Listings should describe what the product does. Screenshots, pricing, and founder info are encouraged.
What we reject
- Spam, PBNs, doorway pages, adult, gambling, malware, and deceptive clones.
- Keyword-stuffed titles, fake screenshots, and borrowed brands.
- Badge spoofing (claiming verification without a live /api/badge/ embed).
Verification & dofollow
- Dofollow is earned by a live SEOheist badge embed, then a free 14-day queue or a paid Instant / Premium upgrade.
- Removing the badge can revoke free-tier dofollow. We do not sell Domain Authority scores.
Featured & sponsorship
- Premium featured placements are labeled Sponsored.
- Organic board rank is driven by verification and tracked /go clicks — not unlabeled payola.
Corrections
- Owners can edit listing details from the dashboard.
- Report spam or fraud via /contact or support@seoheist.lol. See /rules for hard bans.
FAQ
Can I buy a higher organic rank?
No. You can buy Instant dofollow timing or labeled Premium featured placement — not silent rank inflation.
Do you fact-check every product?
We enforce spam and badge rules. Product claims are the maker’s responsibility; misleading listings can be removed.
How is this different from /rules?
/rules is the hard ban list. /editorial explains listing standards and how we present sponsorship.
